Sadly as of the 6th May there are still no Lib Dem councillors in Bromsgrove. The current political climate was always going to be difficult to challenge a strong Conservative majority and it turns out that this was indeed the case yesterday. The Conservatives have even gained 2 seats in the elections - thus increasing their majority.

Bromsgrove Lib Dems Janet King & Thomas Coe both appeared in this weeks Bromsgrove Standard. Janet King, candidate for Linthurst ward in the forthcoming local elections took on Bromsgrove Conservative MP Sajid Javid in a debate on the Alternative Vote whilst Tom - candidate for Slideslow ward - appeared in an article on young candidates standing in this years election in Bromsgrove.
